Invitation to Nurse Educators to Participate in a Focus Group on

What do Nurse Educators think helps create a quality workplace environment?

You may be aware that a group of BC and NT nurse educators are conducting a study on Quality Workplace Environments for Nurse Educators within Schools of Nursing in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. To further inform the data collected during an online survey in the spring of 2011, we are planning to conduct a minimum of four and a maximum of eight focus groups in different geographic locations in BC and NT. Focus groups will be conducted either face to face or by teleconferences/webinars.

If you are interested in becoming a participant in a focus group and willing to share your wisdom, or, if you would like additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact one of the three people listed below:

Penny Cash, UBC Okanagan, BC
Vee Faria, Aurora College NT. vfaria@auroracollege.nt.ca
Linda von Tettenborn, Douglas College, BC

The research team includes Penny Cash (Principal Investigator, UBC Okanagan, BC.); Donna Daines (Thompson Rivers University, BC.); Rose Doyle (Kwantlen Polytechnic University, BC.); Vee Faria (Aurora College, NT.); Linda von Tettenborn (Douglas College, BC.)
