My Teams

InspireNet Action Teams bring groups of members together on specific areas of interest in nursing health services research. For details on how Action Teams are formed and the Electronic Communities of Practice (eCoPs) that support them, please visit the Action Teams page.

To add content to a wiki:
1. Go to your team's eCoP (click My Teams from the website home page after logging in)
2. Locate the wiki and click it to open it
3. Click the Edit tab at the top of the wiki page
4. Add your content
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save

ECoPs are provided as free online groups through our website. Groups are password protected and include for each team:

  • discussion forum: to share discussions across team members
  • blog: to publish and receive comments
  • event calendar: to track events of interest to the team
  • shared document library: to share documents across the team
  • team page: to create a static webpage
  • wiki: to collaborate on document writing
  • team email list: for team leaders to communicate with team members without tracking email addresses

Teams interesting in sharing documents should be sure the document is not protected by copyright. Where there is a question about copyright, Teams should instead provide a reference to the source and not a copy of the document.
